HO HO HO, it's nearly Xmas time, and ancient traditions should be observed. Even our feline friends are getting in on the act. This advent calendar has some delicious milk and catnip drops secreted in each compartment. None the less, my sister in search of a pre-dinner treat thought that she would steal one of "my" well earned chocolate buttons, only to find a nasty catnip surprise. HA HA HA. Have no fear, they are quite safe for small children if eaten accidentally. God help them if eaten on purpose!

Here is a nice map showing some places people like to visit. Notice how our intrepid trio didn't really go to any of them. I also am relaxing in the knowledge that it is not because the Germans get up before everyone else that they put their towels on the sun beds first, but rather, since they spend more money on travel than everyone else, they simply employ a small trained monkey to do it for them (probably the one Ross has in Friends, i haven't seen him on screen recently).

Day 2: As I am chained to my suit and unable to adventure, I am attempting to offset my bitter angst and mind rotting disappointment by blogging the story of the intrepid (now) three. That's correct, Dan has now joined the crew and I can exclusively reveal here, on prestonstreet.co.uk, that pipe dream is becoming glorious reality. Without giving too much away, one way flights to an eastern european destination have now BEEN BOOKED! Following day one's collection of around £6 in loose pub change, six 99p flights (one change necessary) have been booked through a trusy interweb based flight retailer.

The three muskateers are currently out making money on the streets of Edinburgh to fund their trip, and I would like to ask you all to join me in making some sort of donation to the cause. We will shortly publish a paypal link where donations can be made, and the level or type is totally up to the donator. I suggest conditional donations, for example mine, which reward any local television exposure with a £5 gift.

Another way to support the team would be to on one of their ebay auctions and land yourself a pair of fetish skate shoes, as worn by a prestonstreeter! Richard's ones even have a hole in front to stick your cock in!

Eastern Europe, anyone?

We have decided, Richard and I, last night in the pub that we are adventurers. In fact we are currently embarking on a plan to raise the princely sum of £200 so that we can travel as far as possible from edinburgh. Once we arrive at our destination we will have to barter, sell and generally adventure our way back.

Day One : Making Money

Pretty successful thus far. We have found the total of £1.79 down the back of the white leather seat in Southern Bar and a further £2.06 in the green sofa in the middle of the Tron.

Culture: consider?

Easily confused with civilisation, culture has many facets; social culture at a rudimentary level rests with shared beliefs and systems such as language. which can be further subdivided into subcultures. Different groups of individuals within a shared culture who represent distinguishing but unifying factors such as ethinc group or even more tenuously ancestral backgrounds. This is where it gets complicated, these can then be adorned with universals. These can be described as creating art or shared reliance on individuals for implementations of community roles.

It does of course go wrong. Nobody wants molten coffee on their hands. And before coffee?... The failure of the rude human technology.

Phew* that was complicated. Lets all just take a minute to cast our eye over these little cats wearing hats.

Okay... so here is a question for you; how do those huge Boeing-737's manage to get into the air and not stay trundling around the airport?? (i heard they weren't just filled with helium).

Back in the days of yore, a good suggestion may be that it had something to do with people in cattle class praying to their false gods, and somehow they would pick that plane up, and carry it safely to its destination. Clearly this is ridiculous. I am here to tell you i have found the scientific explanation to this decade old conundrum, i can confirm (being preston streets most frequent flyer), that it is in fact the power of business men sleeping that enables those jets to take us to our holiday resorts. No sooner do they get comfortable in their club class seats do they begin the pre-flight preparations of head bobbing until they nod off, reaching full sleep power just before take-off. It is a modern marvel, and quite something to behold. I recommend you have a look next time you take a trip in one of those metal birds.

Hello everybody, jeez it has been a while, we know! You may well wonder what we have been up to all this time. Richard and i have been beavering away on a number of side projects, news to follow.

Personally, i have been seeking the patent for my new invention the Hoverphone (patent pending). It is going to revolutionise the world of teleconferencing. Just imagine sitting at one end of a boardroom table desperate to make an important point on an international call, well with Hoverphone (patent pending) you can! Simply raise your hand and seek permission from the person on the phone who will then guide the Hoverphone (patent pending) to your end of the table, smoothly and without fuss. genius.

So, what's your favourite kind of handshake? By handshake, of course, I mean any type of hand to hand, palm to palm or fist to fist (oooh err!) contact. Many lengthy tomes have been written on these noble subjects, such as Phil Fister's epic "The Art of Safe-ing" and the majestic "A Midsummer Night's Safe" by William Shakehand. However, questions still arise, every day, about handshake etiquette. Why, only the other day I was strolling down the pavement, minding my own business, when I was confronted by an inebriated vagrant. "Haw big pal!" he screamed, perhaps in pain. "Ony spare change?" At first I thought he was speaking latin, and that it was some performance theatre. However, a chill set upon me when I realised it was not festival time. I informed the gentleman I had no money, and upon hearing this he thrust his hand forward. At this point, the dilemma arose. Which handshake to choose? I certainly knew what he wanted, and I wasn't prepared to do it. He wanted a "nedshake", or to give it its proper name, the "thumbfister". I stood firm, however, and forced his intended nedshake into a proper handshake: a victory for decency!
